Your information should be treated with care.

This page explains, in plain English, what Honourable Support collects, why we need it, who may see it and how you can ask questions or raise a concern.

Our approach

We collect only information that is reasonably needed to understand enquiries, connect participants with suitable independent support workers, arrange services, manage safety, keep service records and meet business or legal responsibilities. We do not sell personal information.

What we may collect

  • Names, contact details and communication preferences.
  • Participant details, NDIS information, support needs, routines, preferences, goals and safety instructions.
  • Representative, emergency contact, plan manager and support coordinator details.
  • Support worker identity, private matching photos, qualifications, screening, business and insurance information.
  • Support-worker bank-payment details needed to pay valid invoices. Account numbers are encrypted and restricted to authorised administrators.
  • Applications, agreements, rosters, shift notes, incident reports, complaints and related correspondence.
  • Website form records and basic technical information needed for security and reliable operation.

Why we use it

We use relevant information to respond to you, decide whether our services are suitable, arrange a safe and appropriate match, administer agreed supports, communicate with authorised people, manage records and invoices, respond to incidents or complaints and improve the way Honourable Support works.

Who may receive it

Information is limited to people who need it for the particular purpose. This may include Ben, Tristan and Logan; an assigned independent support worker; an authorised representative; a plan manager or support coordinator; our secure website, database, email and document-storage services; and emergency, regulatory or law-enforcement bodies when disclosure is authorised, required or reasonably necessary for safety.

A support worker’s profile photo is collected during private induction for administrator review and matching. After final approval, the worker may choose to share that photo with a short introduction, interests and support strengths inside the private participant portal. The profile is never placed on the public website, and contact details, address, ABN, rates, documents and private records are not included.

Workers receive relevant instructions for their assigned participant. They do not receive unrestricted access to every participant’s information.

Health and sensitive information

Participant forms may include health, disability, cultural, identity or safety information. We ask for consent where appropriate and use that information only for relevant support, safety, administration or legal purposes.

Storage and security

Records are kept in access-controlled website systems and business document storage. We use role-based portal access, temporary sign-in codes and administrator controls. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so we also limit what we collect and ask people not to send unnecessary personal information.

Website activity counts

We keep anonymous first-party counts of public page visits, choices between the participant and worker pathways, and form starts so Ben, Tristan and Logan can see whether the website is helping people. These activity counts do not store names, contact details, form answers or IP addresses. A short lived first-party session cookie helps us count one website visit without treating every page opened as a different person. Completed form totals come from the forms safely received by Honourable Support.

Meta advertising measurement

On selected public pages, the Meta pixel may send Meta basic browser and device information, an IP address, a Meta cookie identifier, the public page viewed (including a generic thank-you page after a short enquiry succeeds), a signal when a short enquiry page is opened and a completion signal after a participant contact request, participant enquiry or support worker introduction is successfully submitted. We use those limited signals to understand whether a Facebook or Instagram advertisement brought somebody who completed the correct first step.

The completion signals and thank-you page contain only the type of first step completed and the fact that it was successfully submitted. We do not send Meta names, email addresses, phone numbers, form answers, diagnoses, NDIS numbers, uploaded documents or the detailed information entered in private portals, inductions, complaints or the full participant intake. Automatic event collection is disabled, and the pixel is not used on those private or detailed pages. Honourable Support separately records completed forms inside its own administrator system.

Meta may handle this information outside Australia under its own privacy practices. You can review Meta’s Privacy Policy and activity off Meta technologies.

Access, corrections and deletion

You may ask what personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or out of date. You may also ask us to delete information. Sometimes we may need to keep a record because of safety, a dispute, an agreement or another legal or business requirement. If so, we will explain rather than silently refusing.

Email updates

Community emails are optional. We record consent when someone joins and every community email includes a way to unsubscribe. Service messages, safety communications and responses to an enquiry are separate from marketing.

Changes to this page

We will update this page when our practices or responsibilities materially change and show the latest review date above.

Ask before sharing

If you are unsure whether information is needed, ask us first. We would rather explain than collect information we do not need.
